The General Data Protection Regulation came into force on 25 May 2018, changing the rules about how organisations collect and store your personal data. We are committed to privacy. It is important to note that as Members of the BHC we agree to share our data with one another.
To keep BHC members connected to BHC and other members and to manage BHC homes, we need to store some of your basic information. While the new legislation does not require we take special measure among members, it does require robust systems of Data Protection when/if we share data with third-parties.
We do not share your data with any third-party organisations without specific direct notification and acquisition of your consent prior to sharing your date i.e. if The Maintenance Worker needed to coordinate a repair and sought your permission to pass on your details to a third-party contracted to carry out the work. We never share your data with any third parties for marketing purposes.
